Tonks:
If we look at book 2 as the Chamber of Secrets = Tomb, then the Devil's 
Snare does fit.  The devil snared Eve and this lead to death of the 
human race.  Eve symbolized by Ginny ends up in the Tomb with Harry.  
(Eve and Adam.)  And then Christ in the form of Faulks, sent by God 
(DD) comes to bring them back to life.  They would have both died there 
at the hands of the snake otherwise.
