Chys,

I disagree that DD is immortal -in that way- for his ideal, or the
spirit behind his character can never die- But I suppose he can be
immortal if he's like the phoenix, but he would have to die and be
reborn if he were and that would be a problem seeing as if he were
reborn as an infant like Fawkes seems to be a chick again, then
there'd be no way he could help Harry in the end; thus the classic
Hero confrontation for LV and Harry would ensue on schedule.

Yeah. I think that's the way to go. What could he come up with that's
more elegant, eh?

The final confrontation-
Chys' style *hides the few remaining braincells*:

HP: *shoots random magic from his wand*
LV: *gasps and shrinks*
DD: *stumbles onto the scene* What happened?!
HP: *holds up a twitching frog* Uhm, his name's Tom, can I keep him?
DD: O.o;;

book 7, turning him back into baby DD.
