I felt like JKR had conveniently overlooked something - the 
wretched Time Turner! Harry could have gone back in time just a 
couple of spins, fiddled around with something to influence the 
course of events before it all happened, and there you go - Sirius 
lives after all. Once the geni is out of the bottle, it's difficult
to get it 
back in, isn't it?
