JKR in "fiendish glee"

So a while back, JKR had updated her site news with the "No News is 
Good News" heading and mentioned how at least once she was able 
to "rub my hands together in fiendish glee" (12-10-04).

My question: what was this moment in HBP that caused her to rub her 
hands together in glee? I would guess it is some new revelation that 
she has been sitting on that would turn commonly-held views of the 
Potter world upside down... probably something to do with Snape?
