Hmmm.  I can't believe he would stop trying to hear it if there was a 
way, which makes me wonder whether LV knows who made the prophecy (he 
would know if the spy knew who Trelawney was).  LV could go after 
Trelawney, but it appears that she doesn't "recall" what she has 
prophesied.  I don't think DD is simply keeping her at HG for her 
protection, though.  I think he suspects/wonders/worries that she may 
have another prophesy in her.  After all, three is a nice, round 
number.
