Far be it from me to add coherence.  I just like to pose questions 
and absorb the theories!  :)

What you say makes perfect sense, especially given the "in essence" 
bit in OOP.  Perhaps this sheds new light on the "there are things 
worse than death" speech.  I'd always looked at this either as either 
what DD thought would be worse than death for LV or what LV himself 
would think was worse than death.  But maybe DD believes for Harry, 
having LV "inhabit" him would be worse than death.  I guess the only 
way to avoid all this is to have Harry kill LV.
