Ah, but there is the rub. What kind of rites of passage are there in 
the WW? Do they have priests? Is there any such thing as religion at 
all for wizards? If yes, do they have the same religions and 
denominations as Muggles? And how does all this witchcraft busyness 
come into this? If not, what do they have instead? I believe that 
JKR has purposely sidestepped the issue so far in order to avoid 
possible controversy with the Church. There has been enough of that 
already and she probably doesn't want any more entanglements with 
the Christian "crusaders".
