I've been quietly rooting for a Tonks/Lupin pairing since OotP -- and
I can give you a reason why!  Tonks is a metamophmagus, and as such,
can change form at will.  What better partner for Lupin? She can
transform herself into something that enables her to protect herself
(and Lupin, in a way) should Lupin not have access to his wolfsbane
potion!
