I think it is just an prize example of Snape's sarcastic nature. He's
read a long and complicated theory explaining how to go about
extracting the individual componants of a blended poison, how to
calculate what added ingredient to include to produce an antedote, to
say nothing of having to know the antedotes for the individual
componants of said poison. Then no doubt a long and conveluted
process to actually make the antedote. I can just hear Snape
saying "Fine. Or you *could* just shove a bezoar down their throat."
