That is simply not correct.

Travelling to the future is, of course, unproblematic (and
travelling a thousand years into the future is possible for a
human being -- just not with our current technology), so the
interesting part are Closed Time-like Curves -- paths in space-time
that returns to the same point in space-time (i.e. same spatial
position and same time) after travelling a non-zero distance.

Physics (possibly) allows time-travel, but without the paradoxes,
and there are several ways to do this.
