I had the same reaction! Another pre-HBP Tonks/Remus shipper- yay! :) 
I was hoping that they would get together ever since I read OotP for 
the first time. 

And I now have some real hope that Lupin will survive the series, 
especially in the light of JKR apparently telling that Wormtail will 
not kill Lupin.
