None of the above.  ;0)  My theory:
Set scene: the final showdown - Harry and Voldemort.  Snape appears,
Harry is now torn - he wants to kill both of them, Voldemort out of
necessity, Snape out of revenge.  He realizes Snape is on his side
when Snape aims a deadly curse at Voldemort, who also realizes what
Snape has been doing all along.  Voldemort is enraged and kills Snape
himself.
