I guess the school will remain open. The teachers said at the end of 
HBP, that as long as one students wants to remain in Hogwarts to 
learn, the school should remain open. And I think this is what will 
happen. Not to mention, that even if the school closes, a few 
characters will probably still live there. Hagrid, very likely, and 
seeing that his cottage is close to the forest, he might be in 
danger. Filch and Trelawney will probably stay in the castle as well.
