I do not think that the prophecy refers to three people -- only two:  
the One and the Dark Lord.  My only question was if the prophecy was 
misinterpreted, and how it could be applied to someone other than 
Harry.  Notice in POA, the prophecy also repeats in the last line.  I 
think this is just a feature of Trelawney's prophecies, and is for 
emphasis.
