Right. But then, since he took time to learn it and didn't hesitate
to put it to use doesn't it mean that he "was into the dark arts"
himself?
As for the irony
Well, I suppose there is a certain irony. Just as
there definitely is a certain irony in Draco's using Hermione's
ideas and literally following her advice in HBP. The question is
what does this irony prove?
