Pat:  Well, we've got one quote saying she doesn't mind being called a 
children's author, and at least 3 quotes in which she said she never 
had a target audience, and she wrote what she herself would like to 
read, as an adult, not as a child.  I say she wouldn't have labeled it 
children or adult, but the publishers had to.
