I just had to jump in to check that I have your meaning straight. You 
suggest that you think that "To Mackenzie, my beautiful daughter. I 
dedicate her ink-and-paper twin." means that Ginny is Mackenzie? I am 
very confused by this as I took the inscription to mean that the book 
was 'born' around the same time as Mackenzie. I fail to see what Ginny 
has to do with it. I really hope I'm making a crazy mistake here - it 
is very late where I am...
