Morgan here: I wonder if the bonder is resonsible for killing the vow taker if the vow is broken. There really isn't much explanation of how this works, so this is just conjecture. But, have we seen any other kind of magic that would automatically kill someone? There has to be a purpose to having the bonder. If the magic was automatic, why would you need a bonder?
