What would they have made the vow for or against? When Snape made a 
vow with Narcissa, it was for Snape to protect Draco. So what would 
have been the purpose of a Snape and Voldemort vow? Or did someone 
alredy mention it? Sorry, I'm new to this thread. I'll go back and 
do my research...

I think the "experiment" Voldemort refers to is a Horcrux(es). A 
Horcrux guarantees his immortality. 

And don't forget, Voldemort likes to work alone. He doesn't believe 
he needs anyone to help him achieve his goals.
