I think you are mistaken, werewolves can work, I mean the law

OoP, when he appears at the chimeney to talk to Harry, Harry starts
complaining about Umbridge, then Sirius says "You should hear Remus
talk about her", why? "She TRIED to pass an anti-werewolf law" I'm
paraphrasing here from memory, but I'm pretty sure that's how it goes

I think it was that Umbridge passed a nasty bit of legislation that
makes it nearly impossible for Remus to find work. Hence his
clothing is always "more shabby and tattered than ever" each time
Harry sees him. Does anyone else think that if his clothes REALLY
were shabby and more tattered *every single time* that he would be
wearing a loincloth by now??? (Maybe that's why Tonks likes
him... :) )
