Sleeping Portrait was Faked death or faked AK?

  And the portrait is one thing that does puzzle me.  IF Dumbledore is 
dead, then surely his portrait should "wake-up", but it does not.

 Also when was the portrait made, and by whom? Was it recently, or do 
the portraits update themselves?
