Thanks for the link Phoenix. I have to admit this theory has far fewer
holes than the Ginny wearing Love Perfume theory. And I did enjoy
reading it. However, did you read the detail she needed to go into to
make this theory plausible? I mean doesn't Harry already have enough
on his plate in Book 7 without having to deal with some wholly
melodramatic Love Potion fiasco, where he's been deceived by two of
his best friends. Does Book 7 really have time for this kind of soap
opera?
Imo, no. JKR has stated in no uncertain terms that she believes Ginny
is the perfect girl for Harry. Now some of us may be happy with that,
and others may hate the idea and think the writing is terrible. But I
think the fact remains.
To me the first paragraph of this theory is very telling. The author
states that while she hates H/G, she grudgingly had to admit it was
canon and therefore didn't give much credence to the conspiracy theories.
Well, you know the saying. Sometimes it's better to stick with your
first impression. :grin:
