will see in the seventh book and, I was wondering, what are the other significant sevens?? Can we list them? 

Juli: SEVEN is a powerful number in Potterverse, if you check out Jo's website, this month's Wizard of the Month is the witch that discovered the magical properties of the number 7. I think she's trying to give us a hint there. Here're some references to 7 from the books:
 
Philosopher's Stone

He paid seven gold Galleons for his wand, and Mr. Ollivander bowed them from his shop. (Harry's first trip to Diagon Alley)
