We're not in disagreement here, Valky -I had the same take on it when I  read 
that scene.  Sybil is entirely focused on herself - and as we know she  
ALWAYS sees the darkest portents, well, the positive aspects of that card  
(renewal, cleansing, as I see it) are entirely lost to her.
 
I wonder which book(s) JKR cribbed the meanings from?  I'm fairly sure  she's 
not a reader!
