Chuckle.  I don't think we have, to be fair.  It all depends on how 
it turns out.  At the moment, the saga has a great deal of promise.  
It it DOES follow expectations though - i.e. if it turns out that 
Snape is Dumbledore's man through and through, etc., then I would 
say you've pegged it -- ultimately, for all its great moments, the 
story in the end was boring, contrived, unsatisfying, and will have 
said nothing, in its ultimate plot, really meaningful or believable.

Once again, that remains to be seen.  But I think you're right, that 
medieval plots don't mean medieval messages.  But in this instance a 
medieval plotline a la Morte D'Arthur would be tired and ineffectual.
