Maybe because they weren't secret keepers in the first place?
Wormtail was the keeper and as soon as he betrayed their secret it
naturally ceased being one. Simple as that.
Again, since Dumbledore did not betray his secret I suppose it still
stays secret. That's why Sirius said that Wormtail should have died
rather than betrayed Lilly and James: had he chosen death he would
have taken the secret to his grave, the Potters would have lived,
Harry wouldn't have been orphaned and there would have been no story
for us to read.
