Spinners End and Dumbledore

For some reason I keep thinking of the fact that in Chapter 2 Snape
makes an unbreakable vow, yet in Chapter 3 we have Dumbledore with a
withered wing, so to speak...

Makes me wonder if all of these theories of Dumbledore 'saving' Snape
from an untimely death by allowing himself to be martyred might be
wrong.

What if Dumbledore had taken Snape's place for some reason, and ended
up taking an Unbreakable Vow to kill himself...then you would see
results immediately...and the end result could be a blackened wand
hand.
