Dumbledore explains this to us on p470 (British version).
" But firstly, no, Harry, not seven Horcruxes: six. The seventh part 
of his soul, however maimed, resides inside his regenerated body. 
That was the part of him that lived a spectral existance for so many 
years during his exile: without that he has no self at all."

The part of Voldemort's soul to which you refer is the part that 
was "ripped from my body" (Voldemort, GOF) and hid in the forests of 
Albania for so long. This is will have to be the final piece of 
Voldemort's soul to be destroyed.

It was a good idea though, Bunny. I have no idea why there was such a 
large explosion at that moment.
