(snip below) - I don't belive this one.  The trophy might be at the safest place in the WW, but its DD's domain, with Harry and the others close by.  If it was a Horcrux, then DD could have found and destroyed it by now with the greatest of ease.  It fits the pattern very well; I don't belive that DD would have overlooked it.

Therefore, I think that this is a red herring.
