I thought it strange that Peter was able to cut Harry during Voldemort's rebirth,I would have thought the lifedebt would not physically enabled him to do this as it seems to be taken so litterally in the wizarding world. Perhaps it is simply a moral concept which really does not need to be upheld or has no bearing on an immoral person.
