While, I wouldn't go as far to say that any of these theories are
wrong. I tend to lean toward the belief that Dumbledore really is
dead. In regards to his flying up in the air after the curse hit him,
I'd venture to say that it was written that way in order to have the
maximum dramatic impact on the reader.
