Really? When was the first time? I remember only one time when he sent 
someone to the infirmary, or, rather, carried someone. Goyle even had 
to make up an unconvincing story about being bitten by a flobberworm 
for Rita, since there was too little real evidence for her to make the 
convincing "dangerous and violent teacher" case. And this is a 
notoriously accident-prone subject we are speaking about. Previous 
Professor had even lost a couple of limbs.
