I am sorry, Betsy, but your claim here is simply not true. Canon to 
support "Snape is an abuser" argument was brought up many, many, many 
times.
 
It is your absolute right of course to NOT see abuse in these 
incidents, but some people do and of course I happen to think that it 
is a very reasonable interpretation.
