Maria here:
I haven't read said interview, but just had a wild thought - what 
if Snape *didn't* have a crush on Lilly, but in fact had one on 
Petunia? That would make for some really interesting complications. 
I know it's very unlikely, but thought it interesting enough to 
mention.
