I have had concerns regarding all that is left to do as well, until I 
realized, like you, if all the B and C storylines are left out (and 
charming as they are, at this point in time, we are ALL just concerned 
with the final showdown), a book the length of any of the last three will probably be just fine. She does it so well, that I think people are not always aware of how much extraneous matter is in the books. It painted the whole wizarding world for us in great detail. We've got that now so it isn't so necessary.
