Definitely and interesting premise. Of course, as the original poster
said, that phrase could be subtle misdirection on JKR's part. However
see below for my interpretation, where the phrase is true, but not the
whole story.

Hehe. True enough, but I think what the original poster was suggesting
was not that Harry actually _is_ dead, but rather that he should be,
and is only being kept alive due to his connection to Voldemort. No
way to know at this point, I think, but certainly seems plausible.

out to the end of book 7.
