I think it means that they share some part.. *mind* I would guess. 
But their soul is the essence and at that level they are still 2 
seperate people. I would also say that they can never be merged at 
that level because they are so different. The evil in LV could never 
become one with the Love in Harry. And this may have something to do 
with how the series will end. But I am not sure how.
