Lupin's comment to Sirius when Harry confronted them about the
Pensieve Incident:  "Did I ever tell you to lay off Snape?"

And Sirius' response: "Well you made us feel guilty sometimes..."

These do not sound like the comments of two guys who were being
"actively wronged" by Snape.
