P.S.  Whether you like it or not, JKR has already ruled that Harry is
an abused child, as Alla has quoted.  "I feel sorry for Dudley, in a
way the Dursleys have ABUSED him as badly as they have Harry."

I know you don't like the interviews, but that's just too bad.  JKR
has ruled on the issue, Harry IS an abused child, end of story.
