That's assuming that the whole Order knew what Severus was up to.   IMHO, 
they didn't - I am of the school that believes that Severus reported ONLY  to 
Dumbledore, answered only to Dumbledore - and that Dumbledore alone knew his  
identity as a spy.  (IIRC, Sirius didn't even know Snape had been a  DE.)
