I understand that, what I don't understand is why that is a fault 
not a virtue.

She didn't implement a ironclad procedure that would make betrayal 
impossable because she couldn't think of one; I can't either, if I 
could I'd be the head of the CIA. She did the best she could, she 
put a hex on the parchment which if nothing else that at least 
ensured nobody could betray them twice. And yet, many here say even 
doing that was too much. When half the people say you're doing too 
much and the other half say too little you're probably doing about 
right.
