One of my favourite things about the Hans' postulation that Remus is 
the Grey King is that The Grey King has a young vibrant wife, 
symbolic of the joy that goes with the Grey King state in Alchemy.
Personally I can't imagine anything more appropriate for Remus than 
to have someone young and joyful and full of life by his side, he 
deserves it. 

I don't believe ESE!Lupin one bit, but I totally respect the 
excellent work Pippin has put into the theory.
