I doubt Salazar could be the Half-Blood Prince. He
believes in the purity of blood, himself being
pure-blood (at least I believe so), so he can't be
both half-blood (one muggle parent or grandparent) and
pure-blood, both at the same time. If he is half-blood
or muggle blood, then why would he care so much for
the purity of blood?
