The photograph on the back of my copy of OoP shows JKR against her
bookshelves and there are a number of Agatha Christie novels there, so
obviously she's familiar with the Christie style.

Has anyone ever discussed possible parallels with Agatha Christie's plot
devices? (not an area that I know a lot about, apart from the fact that they
tend to feature small fastidious Belgians - the next DADA teacher, perhaps?)
