I was going to hold off on this till I got my hand on a Firebolt 
broom, but since you mentioned it today... The broom that is being 
sold as an official HP item has runes markings on it. (I will take a 
closeup picture of it next week when we get more in.) Now I know 
that JKR approves things that WB licenses, so this must mean 
something.

And if it is also on the back of the book, I would say that it does 
mean something. I am surprised, however, that JKR uses runes; since 
the religious right is so paranoid about the books to start with... 
this will push them over the edge for sure.

I don't know what they mean either, but I can find a book. So I will 
report more about this early next week.
