Tonks replies:

Well, of course, I am talking about a group of people who don't read 
the books anyway, so I don't think they are going to take the time 
to sort that out. And as you say the rest of us don't care what they 
think anyway.  Except that their strong objections to the books keep 
other people from reading them, and I think there are important 
teaching in the books that everyone, especially children, should 
read. 

This discussion has inspired me to find out more about runes, and 
all the ways that they are used.
