I like this idea. I have thought for some time that Snape could be 
Sirius's half brother. In fact I may have posted that before here. 
Remember Sirius says he is tomenting Snape *because he exist, if you 
know what I mean*. That could be our clue. Would be a kicker 
wouldn't it, if Snape was the one to inherit the Black estate. 
Ohhh.. Harry is not going to be happy about that!!
