That's a very good point. The relationship between the 2 would be a great plot twist though, and if anyone could do it without offending too many people I think it would be Jo. There are a few after marriage break ups mentioned. ie) Hagrids parents, Tom Riddles, Dean Thomas's. I think many readers both young and old alike could relate to the half brothers idea if done correctly.
