I love where this theory is going...but I've got something to add that
has just occured to me. (And please tell me, if I'm letting my
imagination run away with me.) But here it is: Sirius was the last of
the Blacks. Sirius is dead. So who does Grimmauld Place fall to? Could
it be illitimate-half-brother!Snape?? Ooh...that would certainly bring
about some interesting scenes.
