Which calls to mind this question: why in the world doesn't
Bellatrix simply disapparate? DD clearly believes that the other DEs
might because he immobilizes them with disapparation in mind.

At this point, Bellatrix still believes that Harry has the prophesy, 
and she knows that DD and other Order members have come to the 
rescue. I think she is trying to lure Harry away from his protectors, 
probably thinking that she can get the prophesy (and kill Harry) when 
Harry is on his own.
